MARIN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Marin Community Foundation (MCF) wanted to move beyond the typical nonprofit explainer video—they sought storytelling that was warm, but bold. Building on our existing branding, we developed the Advisor Series to make philanthropy feel approachable and compelling. As creative producers, we hand-selected and coordinated talent who could authentically communicate MCF’s evolving identity. Every decision, from initial concept through final execution, was guided by our understanding of the brand and its goals.
We sourced a Los Angeles-based studio known for commercial storytelling rather than nonprofit content. This choice was intentional—aiming to deliver something distinctly different. To align with MCF’s brand aesthetic, we selected a collage animator whose style naturally extended the brand’s visual language.
Alongside our production team, we developed scripts that broke away from predictable nonprofit language. To bring these scripts to life, we selected a voice-over artist and background music that captured MCF’s approachable yet authoritative tone.
